The Very Long Walk...

There was a huge storm last night. We are very concerned about Sparky. Where did he sleep last night. Is he ok?
Anyway...
Today we ate breakfast at this great place. The only place to eat breakfast around here.

It's called Coco Bean. It's named after two dogs. Guess what their names are...wrong! Their names are Coco and Bean. We asked the proprietor, Natalie, if there was a grocery store within walking distance.
She said no. But Mike reminded me that like any good New Yorkers we know everything is within walking distance. And by golly he was right...

2 hours later we got to the Pick N' Pay and bought some crappy groceries. Mike assured me that the walk back would only feel like 1 hour but I decided to take matters into my own hands and thumb a ride in the back of a pickup truck.

Here are some things we saw along the way...

Ohio. Get it?

Now we have to go before Africa shuts off the internets. Bye!

Here is our stray dog that we adopted. He followed us home because Mike is a good whistler. Sparky is a fickle friend. Where are you now Sparky?

ich bin ein frankfurter

Hallo! Wie gehts?
Welcome to Mike and Pete's Travel Blog. We are in Frankfurt. If you haven't ever been here, don't bother coming. There really isn't anything to see or do. We only had 10 hours to spend here and we came back to the airport 3 hours early because we were bored. The highlight (or lowlight) was accidentally wandering into a bar that turned out to be a whorehouse. Go Frankfurt! Anyway, here are some pictures for you to look at. I hope South Africa is better than this.
